  • Growth Habit: Tree-like cactus, branching candelabra-style with upright stems that can grow over 4–6 meters tall.
  • Stems: Cylindrical, bluish-green, about 10–12 cm thick, with 5–8 ribs and short but sharp spines.
  • Flowers: Large, nocturnal, white blooms pollinated by bats.
  • Fruit: Sweet, colorful pitayas ranging from red to purple, with juicy pulp that is enjoyed fresh or in drinks. These fruits are a staple in traditional markets of Jalisco, celebrated for their flavor and cultural heritage.

 

 

🌱 About This Cutting
